    1. CSS tip: If you have a CSS transform on hover, try to not move the hover target, otherwise you can get stuck in a hover hole as the element becomes not hovered on when you’re near the edge. Better to move items _inside_ your target

    While we’re on the subject of hovers, try and apply hover effects to links, and not the surrounding element. I find it annoying and misleading when the container has a hover effect but you can’t use the link until you find its bounding box
